EPW - Unsigned Swiss, minute repeater with chronograph, triple calendar and moonphase, 58mm, 14K gold original HC with Jurgensen-style lips, gold cuvette bearing medallions and attributes, white enamel triple-sunk dial with apertures left and right of center for day and month display, aperture in seconds-register for moonphase, SW-shift-locking-LS, lever escapement, likely 16J, gilt mvt, s#284660 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 92.3 dwt (143.3 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, inconsistent repeat function with incomplete or incorrect strikings following no readily discernible pattern, good repeat tone, chronograph engages but tends to stop mvt running occasionally needing a twist to push through its stopping points, chronograph reset is frequently incomplete, calendar functions and moonphase advance correctly via adjustment levers, overhaul needed, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, mild haze to gilt surfaces, surface dirtiness; nearly flawless dial with very small surface nick inside 2 and very small edge flake under bezel near 6; excellent hands; case shows light wear, profuse fine and micro-fine scratches; some dents to band at 8, some dings elsewhere to band, mild ding to rear toward lower left, sharp small ding at center of cuvette, inner rear of case band with a third step suggesting case may have once had a glazed observation mvt cover; tight brassy gold-filled bow, crown shows medium wear; good glass crystal.
